Very relatable. This reminds me of my mum, who would always say when we were growing up that her diet started on Monday ... Of course it had usually ended again by Tuesday!

This made me smile as many people on a diet seem to think it is a punishment when they are helping themselves to a better lifestyle that should be part of every day life forever, shifting our eating habits over to sensible ones is hard to cope with for those with a sweet tooth. I also liked the rhyme, "tarts/starts"
and the alliteration, "dreaded diet"
So, don't start the diet until after the Christmas turkey and mincemeat pie!
