I read several tonight and came back to this one. I save a six star every Saturday for pieces that I feel were overlooked.
That is this one. Made me laugh at the cuteness of it. This so deserves a six star. Very cute. Hope I blessed you tonight.

Gypsy, A very colorful haiku. You in using such perfect descriptive words, you actually have your reader feel the loneliness and futility of the blue birds plight.

Very clear imagery in your haiku which also holds a note of humour, as the poor little songbird has no idea the gnome is deaf to its charming tones.

Well, who or what on earth would reject a bluebird. I once in a while get to see them here in Texas, they are adorable littl fellows. Thank you for sharing sharing this beautiful poem and presentation with us.

That's sad but it's good that the bluebird can have a surrogate love in the plastic gnome. I am always surprised at the kinds of garden decorations people put up. That's cute!

I loved this! The bluebird, symbolizing a person, is rejected by people who simply don't see the bluebirds true talents and true colors. Singing to a less prideful and ambiguous figure, like a gnome, will make you more appreicated. Find your own value in the right places, is what I think your poem is about! Good luck!
