Yes, Marival, yes, the North star has always been a great reference point, in the Northern hemisphere, at night for sailors. At least you can deduce in which direction you're going.

As always, my sweet friend, this is so Lovely. You have a way of making anything romantic. But when you can make the North star even a little sexy, you have truly accomplished something. I am so happy I stumbled onto this one tonight.

Not only is it romantic, but you also give valuable information that is really interesting. I am sure that many didn't know that the north star did not move and that it was a great focal point for travelers.

I have had so much going on that I have to look to see but I think I missed a post I should have done. I will look soon to see. my mind has been preoccupied as I have to go to the hospital to test to see if my treatments are working that are supposed to keep the lupus from destroying more parts. I will be in for a couple days, but will have my ipads with me.

So thank you for this lovely tanka. I enjoyed it very much!
