This is a very emotional entry in the contest and I hope others read it and start to analyze a relationship they might have that is covered with red flags. No one deliberately enters into an abusive situation and we must be cautious about where we put our trust. -- There are too many wonderful people in this world to let ourselves get too deeply involved with the hurtful ones. OMG your little eight word poem is very dark and quite shocking! I'm guessing this about possible domestic abuse. "Fist of lies Disguised as love!!" Very horrific. Good luck.

Hey Lea. Hope all's ok with you. This is packed with your usual brilliance. The first two lines are perfect but I'm not so sure about the last two words. Or just the word 'epic' which is quite a positive word and I don't think you want that impression to be given. What about 'lonely' or 'unearned' or 'undeserved'?

Thank you Rochelle! The French I got from Instagram. The coloring is mine. I've done several versions of it. And she was an elf. I turned her into a human. Thank you, my friend. I'm so glad you like it. I appreciate your confidence in me it's very much a blessing. I'll be sending you a separate email asking a couple of questions if that's okay. The fist is the symbol of that violence and the representation of control masquerading as some kind of misjudged benevolence or parental love, but hell-bent on destruction. Excellently done, Lea!
