HI Kace, your poem had me laughing...
wonder if I could get so lucky...LOL...
of course I would go and get a new roof...
so I guess that kind of leaves me out for
someone to fall through...I hope...
it's a sweet story told...I was reading part 2...
and saw where there was a part one...so I
came back to read part one first...
good for Santa...he found love at first sight...
I love your poem/story told my wonderful friend...
and your picture is perfect...very well written you...
love much...Linda xxoo

I can't fault your style, story, or words. What I do wonder, though, is the spelling. Should it be: "Lapland?" or "Lap Land?" Aw, who cares! This was a fun piece of Loop Poetry.

Hello Jim, Yes it is Lapland (where Santa landed.) Thanks so much for reading and have a Happy Christmas! Blessings, Kay xx
-
The only other thing about Lapland I remember is that there was a science fiction movie about a hairy monster in Lapland. Forgot the name.
-
I have just written 'A Happy Ending' poem because readers wanted the old lady to be immortal. Have changed the spelling to Lapland as you said.
-
I hate to suggest any changes, especially with all my typos, but I knew you'd understand.

Hahaha! This is a delightfully funny well written piece of loop poetry in which Santa suffers a bit of a mishap and falls through the ceiling!! I can picture the scene well. Good luck.

Welcome to a fellow Aussie from one who lives in Shepparton, Victoria! I really liked your loop poem and the story it told about the union of Santa and his new love. Very cute and a good deployment of a tricky form!

Hello Valda. Me having fun with Santa. I hope your weather isn't too bad up there. Love, Kay.
-
We are all good here. A bit of rain yesterday and overnight gave the gardens a drink.
-
Thank goodness. Most of it hit the cape.

Hi Alie, Thanks for reading. glad you liked my sense of humor. Blessings, Kay xx
-
You are so welcome, Kay.
-
Are you thinking of moving to Canada or coming down under? :-)
-
I was going to move to Canada but if I had the option I would move down there. Got any ideas? I gave up my nursing license when I was retiring.
-
Well, we have a lot of Americans here now. Pity about your nursing license. We have an influx of foreigners, some waiting years. If you are feeling the pull to go back to Canada, follow your heart. How hard would it be to return? K xx
-
Wow, you have lots of Americans! Perhaps I will return to Canada.
-
I think you are lonely and need to put your roots down for the winter of your life. Why did you go to America? Very material and greedy country and it doesn't sit well with your giving nature.
-
I was indeed ready for a chance/a change.
-
Stop dancing on one foot and make a decision. Have you got friends in Canada?
-
Friends and family there.

That's quite a different way of finding a partner! A fun and humorous loop poem flowing smoothly - and appropriate to the season. Best wishes for your entry in the contest.

That's quite a story that I've never heard - about Santa who was immortal and his beloved who was not. You told this interesting story and how they were reunited in the difficult rhyming loop style. Best wishes in the contest!

Hi Lena, I wanted to put Santa in a humorous situation! I could have gone on and on and made her immortal, would have been too long! Thank you for reading and your good wishes. Love, Kay xx
