-I know my husbands final days, his last breath was spent with us who loved him, who he loved. Your questions in your tanaga poem bought back those memories of an experience that I never imagined would be so calming.
Nicely doone Jim,
cheers

Great job with your tanaga poem. And you give a solemn call to the reader to be prepared to meet our Savior when each of us are called at the end of our lives.

This is an excellent posting, Jim, with separate monorhyme for each verse. It addresses the serious subject of life after death. Of course, waiting until a person is on their death bed is usually the worst place to start thinking about it.

Thank you for sharing this club entry with us. This poem makes a statement and causes your readers to pause and think. Thank you for sharing Jim Reeves with us. I haven't heard any of his music in years. I'd actually forgot about him. How sad.

Hi Jim.
This is an interesting poem on faith. I have never heard that negative description of Heaven. Though hell is all around us now, it seems. I would guess that with repentance and purgatory a lot of us could still make it into Heaven.
Keep writing and stay healthy
Happy Holidays.

I hope you will be there! And I bet you'll do your best writing there!
-
I hope the same for you. I think all writers who make it there will do their best work there.

Well, if I don't meet you this side, I will look forward to meeting you on the other side! There are two things I'd like to do in Heaven: Be a Scribe and, if there's a replica of Noah's Ark, help feed the animals.
-
Hey Jim, I would like to be a traveling bard. I agree with petting all the animals, except for the snakes.
Joan
-
I wonder if there will be snakes in Heven, after the fall.
-
Maybe not.

Have a great Holiday Season!
-
Thanks Jim.

Many Blessings!

This tanaga, Dying, has the proper formatting and definitely sizes up the person who is about to leave the world into the two options. One is seemingly delightful while the other is --- Come on!!

I can't wait to say how great your writing is up in Heaven! If He has any need for Scribes, you're sure to fit that task!
