Very cleverly imagined and composed. Yes that would be quite sufficient experience for him to be glad to remain an elf! I thin there's a moral in there somewhere about self-acceptance. Lol. Best wishes for your entry (and for a happy and meaningful Christmas).

this was very cute and humorous and worthy of high standing in the contest. Loved that "PG" line! How did that "s" word get past the censors? Only kidding! A very fine rhyme and tale to the very end, but tails are always at the end.

Ah, you see, the grass is rarely greener and certainly not when flying in formation behind a reindeer with a whiffy posterior! My absolute favourite rhyme here was "cruciferous" and "luciferous" - take a bow for that one! Well, this was funny and I think it may have been originally aimed at the Elf as Reindeer contest, which it would have won. Smelf got a chance to do his dream and return. That's a good one.
