Being our own Santa is an intriguing idea. Matter of fact, we can duplicate him all year long by distributing the gifts of a smile or a helping hand whenever we spot a need.
The Santa inside ourselves spreads joy every opportunity possible and is filled with a loving spirit wishing only good and sweet things for all little girls and boys.

Ciao mystery poet, you now have 10 votes.
Love you original approach.
When you wrote : hasn't got reindeers that land of roofs , I said : no respectable Father Christmas would not own reindeers and sledge.
I enjoyed your poem , I didn't realise the one speaking about Father Christmas was actually the guy himself.

Ha! I enjoyed the lively rhythm and rhyme in this piece and then was totally slayed (or should that be "sleighed"?) by the fantastic twist in your final line! Very enjoyable - good luck for the contest!

I truly enjoyed your poem and learning at the end who Santa really is. Your sense of humor peeks out in every stanza, especially stanza two. I think your poem will appeal to all-aged readers. Rod

Lol this is a delightful well written piece of poetry based on the subject of Santa. The rhythm and rhyme scheme are good. I think children would enjoy this although we wouldn't want to ruin their fantasy. Good luck.
