Helen suggested I read it and I was happy she did. It made me realize humans are the same through the centuries. I read a lot of tanka poems from the 17th century to the 20th century, specially women poets. We feel the same love and passion. I was surprised that song of Solomon were so sensual. I thought sex is sin in the Bible but I was wrong.

I thought I recognized some of that hot material coming from your poem. How many would believe that is coming from the Bible? Those who don't read it might be surprised, but it almost makes me ashamed to say for a minute, I was thinking it was getting awfully warm in here. LOL.

I loved every suggestive word and yet it shows that between a married man and woman anything is permitted through love. I know there were other similar readings that were not married too but either way. It was a wonderful post.
I absolutely loved it. Thank you for sharing.

I also wanted to let you know that I don't know what I was thinking but when I went to post mine for this club, I grabbed it out of the general "write" area. So I went and copied the info in my authors notes, but I knew you wouldn't know that I had posted because I used the wrong. Setting or what ever you would call it.
So I did post from your club. In fact I love writing for yours club prompts as they are all such a wide variety of things to do. Thanks so much. Loved yours!!

Song of Solomon is a beautiful Bible book, and many interpret it in many ways. It is supposed to picture Christ's love to the Church, but can also be read as one of the great love poems of the world. Your words were charming, erotic, sensual, and as colorful as always, along with the multicolored presentation.
