Beautifully done! I love this and the way those words are so fitting for the visual! I can read the absolute disdain and disapproval in her face. This is a great entry and a winner in my view! Good luck! Debbie

Ha Ha, good one! I'm not sure either, but you have definitely given this one the ole college try. I do think it's possible to use 10 words and create something beautiful. Good luck.

I think it can if done right. However it is a huge complaint of mine that just because you slap words on a page, doesn't make it poetry. It can be prose, and while the definition of what actually makes poetry is fairly loose, most things are just one liner punch lines to a joke.
But this is both humerous and actually is poetry. So points and kudos.

Thank you for the fantastic review, Janis. Yes, they let a lot of stuff fly as poetry on here but I'll have to admit, I do add my share of one liners on here as well. Lol. I really appreciate the generous stars. I'm glad you liked this little piece. Have yourself a great day and thank you again.

Hahaha I ask myself that every time I see a poetry contest for poems with so many words or so many syllables as I am a 'traditionalist' and like old fashioned poetry lol. Great minds think alike lol. Good luck.

I have often wondered what makes poetry qualify as real poetry. I think "warrent" should be "warrant," but I could be wrong. I enjoyed your poem. Thank you for sharing, and best wishes to you.
