I'm enjoying this Rhonda as you know I'm reading it to my mum, we got to bed late last night so we didn't get to read as many chapters as I would have liked plus we're at an exciting part where Echo will get to meet her future in laws .. Lol! I'm back at my mum's on Saturday night, tempted though to read on but it wouldn't go down very well with Joanie..xx

An excellent chapter, Rhonda. It held my attention all the way through. Echo and Theo are so good together. This was an important journey, one that became more important than she thought. Theo is more open with her and explains a few things here and there. It's nice to know she will have a chance to get her horse name and a patch, as well.

You did a great job with Theo's background and his parents. They certainly have a remarkable history. It will be interesting to see what their world is really like. I don't envy you doing all of the characters that will be involved, but I know you will do a good job, and I am looking forward to learning about this world, too.

A nice touch at the end when Theo blew into Echo's face so she wouldn't learn too much too fast. I assume that is the main reason, but there is probably more to it that will be explained. I don't think she will be happy that she was drugged while entering the valley that seemed so beautiful.

Well done, my friend.

    Hi Pam,
Thank you for the very helpful review. I appreciate it and the golden stars!

There will be a lot of characters, you are so very right, however, I will try to keep track. If you start getting lost, please let me know.

I plan on writing a prequel on the parents when this book is finished. I?m glad their back story is coming through.

Theo is very careful to be considerate of Echo?s emotional state, while trying to satisfy her reporter?s needs.

Theo actually had two reasons for the sedative and Echo will forgive him for both, though she will be a bit upset at the beginning. After examining her leg earlier, he realizes just how bad it is, though he doesn?t let on to Echo.

    Thanks again, my friend,
    Rhonda

You are very welcome and deserving of the stars and review, Rhonda. Thanks for sharing in your reply. By the time I got to the end of the story, I had forgotten about the pain Echo was in. I am enjoying the story.

Awww, thank you! Theo was trying to keep her mind off her pain and bide his time until he could get her to safety and help.

I loved the dialogue in this piece between Echo and Theo, and I thought you did a brilliant job of bringing their personalities to life. I found your writing really engaging and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.

Hello Rhonda,
Another marvelous chapter in the book with excellent dialogue
and interaction between Echo and Theo. The story of Theo's early days
and his Primary Journey add nice depth the his character.

Theo's father sounds like quite a god: King, wise-man, doctor, warrior and gardener, plus the son of Poseidon's.

Their tree journey reminds me of gibbons effortlessly swinging from
branch to branch. :)

It's also nice to get away from the specters for awhile too.

When echo awakens, I think she'll be entering the Wonderful World of Oz,
or Magical Concorde Valley, a nice hook for the next chapter.

Well done, my friend.
Best wishes.
Robert

Hi Robert, thank you for the review and the six stars, my friend!!

I probably should add a bit about how sore her hands and feet are getting from all that swinging about, lol. My problem is I keep adding more and more until it gets super long. I need to perfect the flash fiction mentality to help with that.

Specters are away for a bit, but Echo will find worse eventually. For a while, there will just be fun, though.

Echo will love the new world, and its people, but snakes love a paradise!

Thanks again, for your wonderful review. I really do appreciate your time and attention to detail.

    Take care,
    Rhonda

The story is progressing nicely. Theo has so much to reveal but is careful not to overwhelm Echo. It is best to discover things oneself. It makes them that much more special, adding to the wonder.

    Hi Debi!
Thank you for the brilliant six stars, and for your words of encouragement. You're right about Theo trying not to overwhelm poor Echo, at least not until he gets her to Concorde Valley, lol. No promises on the other side.

    Hugs,
    Rhonda

What a fun conversation! It was like Echo interviewed Theo and each answer made her even more curious. I like the idea of the "name" as it reminds me of the secret name in the white stone given to each one in Revelation 2:17. Great introduction to the new world that Echo will experience.
Comment:
I've only heard the idiom "I have you know," as "I'll have you know". Did you want to leave out the future form?

Hi Helen, thank you for your beautiful review, my friend!
I actually didn?t make that connection with the names. Good observation. That one must have been Divine inspiration!

That was a typo on the quote. I?ll change it. Thanks for noticing!
