This was visually very pleasing in its imagery. I like the feel of the word mantle. Makes it seem more important. Thanks for sharing. Great poem. Gretchen

Firstly MariVal, your stunning image dragged me straight into the magic dance you created with your words.

It had me thinking of the personification to an invitation, a caressing dance you created so beautiful and fluid... caresses strong enough to de-leaf the passion left to drop back down to Mother Earth. What a magic thought of renewal. Or give and take?

Of course I'm out there, I dream, I'm a romantic... it's me!

Your craft, composition, presentation, the thought that goes into such a creation... you are--- special!

Another fine poem, Gypsy....and one that disproves the truth of the old phrase, "Women don't grow on trees!" See, there IS hope for me after all! Where can I get me some seeds?

I'm guessing the "crimson mantle" is made up of the autumn leaves that fell? I guess all that dancing with the wind makes it easy to lose those leaves extra fast! A fun Autumn poem!
