That aside, it is a beautiful presentation for a beautiful haiku. The raging sea does break the rocks down or shoves them aside like stones.

It is amazing how the sea at its roughest changes things and softens them. This was a wonderful poem. It reminded me of tough love. Sometimes pushing back instead of hiving in is the right move. Gretchen

I would say all rocks eventually give into the sea washing over them, although it does take a lot of time. If my science is correct. LOL Once again, your beautiful presentation is unequal to others.

    yes, it's just a visual effect, it takes a long time to smooth rocks but in nature time is relevant.

b r e a k s
against the rocks--
till they submit

eh, just a thought lol

great imagery - could totally see the sea rising and falling over jagged rocks! very cool...

I guess the rocks have to submit sometime but it could take hundreds of years! I like the way you show us the force of the sea that it is relentless and can change even rocks.
