Ciao !

Such beautiful creatures sadly exploited by the Chinese for their traditional medicine.

150 million a year are killed ( dried alive in the sun) because the Chinese believe that seahorses have the potential to cure fertility, blandness , asthma and arthritis.

Nearly 100% of the males caught are pregnant ..

Experts say : keeping them in special tanks until they give birth , would help repopulate the oceans and save this creatures from extinction. The tiny critters are independent at birth.

Mankind is so destructive.

For the contest, I see that you followed all the rules. There is a natural juxtaposition between the first and third line, playing with words. Your picture elucidates this, though I think you could have even left it up to the imagination of the reader.
