The theme of human and AI integration is classic one. I'm reminded on Battle Star Galactica: Colbalt, and The Lawnmower Man for starters.
Here the story is brief, and all narrative. It tells us everything but doesn't show or involve us. There is no conflict, no journey, no growth of character we experience.
I think structurally, the writing is fine, but more story elements and plot needs to be done.
