This was beautiful. I could almost see this as a painting. Two hands separating as silhouettes, with the rich warm yellows and golds of the field and sky meet. Breathtaking. Another incredible poem. Good luck in the contest. Gretchen

I like how you chose the time of "dusk" when the sun is "dying" and the parting takes place - whether if it's for a short time or forever, but they will always have the "gold" of their memories.

I really loved the imagery of the dying sun in your piece, and your choice of words brought it to life well, I could really see that golden colour. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it.
