Isn't THAT the truth!! I remember watching "Meet the Press" one Sunday, and as I listened to the two men with opposing viewpoints talk, I had NO CLUE which was telling the truth. There was a button I saw during the 2020 election that read: I VO(MI)TED TODAY. That definitely summed it up for me that year, too. Both candidates were awful, so you had to tell yourself you weren't voting "for" one as much as you were just voting "against" the other. Painful.

Good entry, Mystery Contestant...albeit in that stomach-churning kind of way...

Well, this seems to be true for every election, everywhere around the globe. I think it is human nature for those running for office to lie. And it is human nature for those voting to choose which lie they want to hear.
