There's a lovely cadence in this, Robert. The rhythm reminds me of a poem by Robert Frost, Neither Out Far Nor In Deep . A marvellous poem in memory of Ian.

Hello Tony.
Thank you for the surprise review for Ian's poem. Any comparison to Robert Frost is always welcome, though 'Neither Out far Nor in Deep"
never occurred to me when I wrote this poem.
I consider Frost among the top, if not the best, of the modern poets.
I like the way he tells a story so well, it seems you're sitting in front of a fireplace on a cool autumn evening enchanted by the tale.
But I still consider Keats the most gifted poet of the last few centuries.
I'm glad you liked the poem written for Sandra and Ian.
Best wishes to all.
Robert

I can't begin to thank you for this lovely poem, Robert, it is a comfort and does ease the pain a little. I've never felt such pain before, it snatches my breath and I can't breathe. I've relived his passing so many times, and even though it was his decision, and he went so peacefully, it still hurts. Thank you for your lovely words, I will always treasure them. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

This is a lovely tribute to Ian to commemorate his passing. This sounds lovely, " Another soul has risen
To be among the stars.
There's peace in elevation
And beauty from afar".
It's a nice thought!

I am glad this lovely poem joined the book. I am seeing friends of Sandras I never met before. Hello.
She is a warm and caring person, who right now can use all the love, prayers, and kindness she can possibly get. Tell everyone you know about the book.
At the end of every review I do, I mention Sandra's brother Ian, and the book. Good Work here. Karen

Let the past be the past. Forget all the unhappy events and only remember the happy memories.
It is easier said than done. But it must be done. The sooner you can handle this, the better, not only for you but the people around you too.
Thanks for sharing
