I really appreciate the authors notes here, because it does help to make the connection about the weather and the season. Colorado, USA is also very temperamental with its weather no matter the season. When I visited, there was a day where there was not a single cloud in the sky, and within an hour, it was thundering and raining so hard, it filled someone's car up with water. (They had regretfully left their top down.)
Structure wise, the meter and flow of the poem is very neat and tidy. It's consistent, making it a very enjoyable read.

As we come into winter, you come into summer. I don't suppose it ever gets as cold as England in Melbourne, but you might still need a blanket on the bed until the summer heat arrives, a fine post, love Dolly x x x

Oh yeah I know that the UK is colder than Australia Our one and only trip back in 1989 was reasonable until the day we went to Oban. Boy oh boy! I am still trying to plan another trip Tom has not been outside Australia.

I have been to Oban! A lovely little town in Scotland with the Isle of Mull just a few miles away. My husband and I spent a holiday on that island and I shall never forget the mighty winds that nearly swept us away, love Dolly x

This excellent work, but I learned a lot that I never did before. I was born and raised in NYC then lived on Long Island, NY. Your presentation is very good. You use expressive words and colorful imagery that will draw in readers. I enjoyed reviewing this.
Best wishes,
Alex
