I liked the lively, emotional dialogue in this post, you orchestrated some moving scenes in which we see and feel how much the characters care about each other. It's all those little details in the describing the kitchen gadgets from the seventies, the way the guy moves around the table, that place us there with the characters in the room. I liked this line: What is so intimidating about saying the word Love? You really bring all the fears of commitment that hold us all back, and give us some feelings we all can identify with, to empathize with your characters. The suspense is also building here. We feel the importance of finding the missing Doug, but we also have to wonder how he will stir up the relationships between the other characters. Interesting chapter. estory
