It looks as though they have found a place where they would both like to stay a while. I can imagine how the news of Ben's arrest and prison escape might have gotten around without people knowing he had been cleared. It is good thing God is watching over him.

It's good that Ben met this pastor, I think. Unless you'll surprise us with more about this man that this first hospitable introduction. I wonder why Ben doesn't have the documentation or news article with him. Interesting dilemma. News traveled slowly then but rumors still travel fast just like now.

That sounds like a warm welcome and a good solution for Ben and Beth to live there in peace, and with Ben carrying appropriate papers to prevent further trouble. Well written Wayne. Yet somehow I feel that won't be the end of drama in his life.

That four meals a day and an early bedtime sounds good to me!
Reading this reminds me of how slowly news used to travel. You couldn't just pick up a phone and call for confirmation.
Fortuna, huh? Will this be it? I keep wondering when they will settle down and have that child, but it may not been until the end of the story.

So Ben is plugged in to the heavenly Telegraph after Al, he knows when the Lord's voice a scripture, my sheep know my voice and hear me. I know the essence of that voice, one must.respond to that voice. I wonder if the jailing will reconcile, well done, blessings Roy

The minister in Fortuna has a good idea to keep Ben from being arrested again if he doesn't have papers to prove his exoneration. It also sounds like a good place to live, nice temperatures and rain.

Ran out of six's, BRO. Well, they made to heaven or what they call it and I suppose it is compared to other places. Seems they got a descent welcoming. Keep it roiling. Now that would be something having Billy Sunday preaching nearby.
