This is a pretty 'heady' read, and I wonder if I'm up to the challenge. Math was not my strong point, so I was delighted to learn I could take Earth Science instead of chemistry or its relatives when college came. What a relief! That aside--this was a thought provoking read, though it hurt my head. And, I look forward to learning more in and of the great beyond. The font was of good size and there were no spelling errors.
I am out of the six-stars...sorry.

I appreciate the thought of a bonus six, your time and comment.
Thank you.

Well, this is one good way to get a review. Smart idea. I think you might be right for younger people. In 1967 I was offered a free ride to medical school but didn't believe I could succeed and didn't take it. Now I know I could have done that but didn't believe I could because women weren't valued as brains. Now at 77 I need a cheat sheet to remember who my characters, that I have created, are. Age does place limits on the brain. You notice the word you use in your last sentence. Humans (even man) would be more polite.

more polite or as polite. You caught me avoiding upsetting half the human population, maybe more since now there are men/women and whatever one wants to be. Thanks for your kind words.

I enjoyed reading this blast on the walking brain dead. For too many of them out there. I have a high I.Q. but in reality, what does it mean? I can't fix a carburetor, or make baklava. I can't cure cancer, or fix women's bad metabolism after age 40. I keep reaching to learn more and improve , as long as I am able. Pass my smarty smarts along to whoever wants my take on things. Being useful is more important than always having to be right. It annoys people.
You bring up some very interesting things. Good Work.

Of the many things I may be good at, annoying people is what I do best. I cannot speak for all mankind, but my head has a hamster within using my brain as a spinning wheel. It never stops churning new ideas as a dairyman would butter! :-) Thank you.

Enjoyed listening to and reading your thoughts about the brain. I truthfully consider the brain an organ that is confidential and should be left alone. A person's mentality is considered precious.

Well R.E.1 I have no intent to bother your brain, but I cannot guarantee if you follow me somewhere along the way, I feel assured I'll write something to upset te apple cart inside someone's head. :-O

This is very well written, and I agree with you on many points about it. Our brains are capable of so much more than what we use them for. When I graduated high school, there was a young man who could take and look at a page in a book, and he had it memorized how are you did it? I do not know, but it was a brilliant man. However, later in life, he became a doctor, got hooked on drugs, and took his own life because of drug overdose.

Thanks for enjoying the intent intended.
I erred in saying rebuttal when the prompt should have been tell me what your thoughts may be re: The Final Frontier.

This is excellent work. Your presentation is very good. I hope it makes their cut lol. It should but I'm not them. You use expressive words and colorful imagery that readers enjoy, as I did.
Best wishes,
Alex

You raise interesting questions regarding the infinite possibilities of the gray mass between our ears. Is it as infinite as calculating the digits of PI? As endless as the universe? As limitless as eternity and wherever it leads us? I can't answer or rebut your thoughts, but it is something to ponder. It will be interesting to see who answers your challenge and what their answers are. Best of luck in the contest.

I think I could have explained rebuttals meant to tell me your thoughts of what the Final Frontier might be. My submission was my take. How can I correct it?
-
Oh, I see. When you explain it that way it makes sense. I took a rebuttal as a challenge to disprove what you were saying. I?ve never found a way to even change a misspelling once a contest is created so I have no advice on how to change it.
I think you take on the Final Frontier is an excellent one.

Yes, it was my mistake and as you state I went to change it but found zilch. Thanks

I red it. I answered it awhile ago today. I responded from God's Word. If you can't believe God's Word, there is no other place to go. A scientist may be correct in his observations, but I won't give his words the credence I would to God.

Maybe my description was poorly written. I wanted anyone to go where they wanted to write about the final frontier. I thought I ended with a line of faith believing there is life after death, and where we will continue to broaden our intelligence.
-
Sorry if my r4spose didn't meet the criteria, but I write not to win, but to gain experience to write better.

Ironically, we have invented AI which is infinitely faster, non-emotional and immortal, so we will never need all those untapped neurons. In light of this, I've actually already stopped evolving.
Cheers,
John
PS, Your rebut is great. I hope you don't get disqualified and in fact win the contest.

Maybe I would try to rebut your argument if I knew exactly what it is you're saying. What cannot man do with his brain? Saturate it with thoughts? memories? And for how long? A moment? An entire life-time?
