I really liked the combination of your chosen form (which is new to me) and the delightful imagery at play here - truly celestial. I enjoyed the lovely alliteration such as "shine in the sizzling sun" and the beautiful visual images served to reinforce the aesthetic pleasure of the language. Beautiful writing!

After reading this poem I had to search for the song, 'Venus' by Frankie Avalon. I refuse to discuss my age. LOL We won't discuss that it originally came out in 1959 but made number 1 in 1970. I like that year a little better. LOL Once again, your poem and the presentation are wonderful. Thank you.

The 5 lines gogyohka form is similar to tanka but it doesn't have syllables limit.

I think I saw Venus rising last night. It was so bright in the night sky - one of the most well loved planets to see.
