Congratulations on reaching post number 50 - what an achievement! This is a rollicking and lively exploration of your long life shared with your other half. One suggestion - you may want to correct the spelling of the words "disappear" and "disappointment" (two common errors and tricky words). I'm sure your family will enjoy this tribute and also enjoy reminiscing about all the events which have formed the fabric of your long marriage. Kudos!

Living that poem with you. Parts of it anyway. Congrats on your Milestone Post. I struggle with a poignant review as I would just rather sit and absorb your words and let them speak for themselves.

Lol you have described being married for a long time very well and I can relate to your words although I've only been with my other half for 40 years (seems like 60).
"We wept some tears in middle years
the rigours of life we suffered,
and though engaged as ball and chain
never were we fettered."
We've all shed some tears at times. Well done.

This is excellent poem, expressing the life You've lived, together, going through each and every day. Your words are authentic and powerful. Your presentation is very good too. You use expressive words and colorful imagery that will draw in a readers.

    So so kind, and I so,so late ! Thank you belatedly Debbie.I'm afraid life is catching up with me by now. By now of course it is 65 years. She is the reason I live....
