Covid is a curse on society and I have had it once. Fortunately I was inoculated against it. I lived in fear during the pandemic as I was alone in a foreign country without my family and I took steps to protect myself and kept my home sterile. I caught Covid from my daughter who did not know she had it. Thank goodness for the Scientists, a fine post, love Dolly x x x

Dolly we have been inoculated too. My husband had it badly mine is mild but still leaves me with a combination of hunger and lethargy My Mum used to say "Feed a cold and starve a fever" However our wee dog is a good nurse with paws he should get an award for watching over his patients

The text is tiny and challenging to read, but the poem is relevant and flows well. I also wonder how the poem would look if it were centered. A few formatting revisions might make a big difference.
Thanks for writing.

Aha, it did not work first try. "Pickles!!" instead of something else. Text is altered (again) the bain of my life, but thanks for the pointer

Sorry, it worked out that way. I sometimes learn things about the editor modes but need help explaining them. However, the advanced editor mode (see selection below the general text box on the left-hand side) offers a lot of choices and lets you try them out as much as you want. I wish FanSory had some very detailed explanations about editing.
Best wishes.

Yay, it worked, and I did not know until now that you had supplied this advice. Thank you for your assistance and understanding; it is most appreciated

Fantastic! But I returned and looked at the poem, which seemed the same. Did you use a "save" button after you made the changes? That should be at the bottom of the page.
I have found the editor feature very hard to understand and use, so you are understood in your struggles.
