A solid entry for the mouse elephant contest.
The picture chosen to represent the story is perfect, as is the font. I like that it ends on a positive note - all it takes is believing and support, even if by only one other. Well done and best of luck in the competition.

Cute commentary. Nice to have someone who believes in you. Like the artwork. Is it yours?
Good match between the mood of the graphic and the unusual font.

I truly enjoyed this story a lot. I love fables and stories like this where big lessons van be learned, simply. This would be a great story that could introduce fables to children as well as other skills like comparing and contrasting, the reactions of different animals. A further lesson and discussion could be how we should see people for who they are and how they wish to be viewed in the world. God knows this is a very timely and important topic. I used to teach and I can imagine kids yapping away about who they are and that is priceless!

Just a couple of notes where you can keep the recalling in past tense, consistently. :))
In the deer exchange, I would used "replied"
Rabbit said (keep it all past tense for consistency)
Best wishes,
Alex

A cute little story. The font helped establish the mood. Wish you could have done more with the rabbit, but there was a word limit to contend with. Best wishes for the contest!

A sweet story, well written in a children-friendly style, with a cute message at the end. A great response to the prompt. Well done and the best of luck in the competition.
