I tried to move the large rocks once, but couldn't because they were all in my head. Even on a bad day of writing, I'd rather write than not write! You have my permission to write anything, if that's what you love!

I just reread the poem. I think your interpretation is a valid one, but what I had in mind was different. I was thinking of doing something else that I love and then coming back to writing when I am fresh and not stuck anymore. Are both interpretations valid?

You are the Master of your desires and needs. I choose to believe there is a God in control of all, but He allows us to make free-will decisions. You should do what your heart of hearts tells you to do. But, if you lay off writing for awhile I, and I'm sure many others, will feel a loss at not being able to enjoy your writing.
