A poem of high caliber which also leads the reader to wonder where the inhabitants are. How did the boat get there to be stuck in the reeds of the marsh. Visually pleasing picture to anchor it all together. Gretchen

Gypsy. You're an amazing writer. I don't write poetry unless it's a silly rhyme. I've tried haiku and failed. It seems like fun. I don't have the flair with words to pull it off.

This one read so easy to me. I still couldn't write it.

This poem and presentation work very well together. This tells a whole story in the proper, well chosen, syllables. The boat is personified in my view and the symbolism of blue underlines it's expression, in my mind. An entire story could be written about this boat. Excellent writing and choice of images!

I know that the blue moon is the second full moon in a month which is rare. So I guess the abandoned boat is full of water and reflecting that unusual event and perhaps some other rare event caused the boat to be abandoned.
