Another riveting write. I do so enjoy your writing... not that the topic is enjoyable by any means, but you are such a great story-teller. On another note, I feel so angry with your parents every time I read one of these... but I know God is just and He will give them their due. Well done with this write and all the best to you always.

Even though fury and angst are great energisers, they are also incredibly negative they can drive you to revenge, but you should report to some responsible adult, I think these days they have child protection places, a young girl at our church is a social worker with the government dept, beautifully written Lea, blessings Roy
Typo : (abs) sometimes get an internal chuckle...and?

Not only did he enjoy the power he had over you girls he enjoyed the aftermath as well in seeing our suffering. What a monster he was. You remember it all but your sister chose to block it out. We all have different coping methods. Well done Lea,
cheers,

Thank you so much you are exactly on the money again! Yes, he did take pleasure in controlling us. In any way he chose, he's a coward. Thank you again my friend sit back watch a good movie and enjoy your evening!

Hello Lea,
your stepfather sounds like he's demon possessed or something. Though you may not have been his natural child, he seems to take an unusual pleasure in making your life miserable. I've said many times before- there is a law of sowing and reaping, and I wouldn't want to be him when the time comes to pay the piper. Again, I'm so sorry that you had to go through this. I feel bad for you and your sister. I hope she's getting some much needed help. Have a blessed day gal.

Tom you are a blessing and itself my friend! Thank you, If I had less restraint. Some people might be dead by now.
But it took all strength just to go. You're so wise and insightful and you always hit the nail right on the head echoing my own thoughts. I thank you for your time and your honest review and your kind way of going about it. Thank you my friend!

Ugh. The never-ending torment. Plus, they treat you like the hired help --being ordered to bring them their morning coffee. I cannot begin to enumerate the ways I disdain and abhor these "people." They are the scum of the earth; they truly are.
But, oh, the irony of how his jeering turned your sadness back to fury, where it could do you good. Hope he savored the triumph...because it's soon to come back and bite him a thousand-fold. Can't wait.

That was part of our chores part of the thing we had to do. Everyday was make coffee and bring them coffee in bed. Yes, that was AA thing that they liked. Did like to see one of us wait on them. Rachel, you are the most amazing friend. I thank you. I hope you're having the best days and you and your husband are doing well. Thank you again!

I'm not sure I could have resisted not "accidentally" spilling an entire pot of their favorite brew allllllllll the hell over them both. You are a far better person than I'll ever be, Missy!! xoxox

What cruelty! I so wish you had gone to the police about all this. Your bruises and wounds would have said all that was needed. Hindsight is so good, isn't it?

Hindsight is always 2020 has mentioned. I would have liked to have done anything a different going back to my 16 year old mine. And knowing what I knew then probably the same decision would have been made. I don't know so much was done on. Thank you again my friend. I'm so happy to see you here. I hope your day is amazing!

Just finished this one of yours...Good for you writing it all down...
Takes a lot out of you I am quite sure... never easy to do this type of thing...
I know you used the word selfish for your parents but other words might be better...self-involved or narcissistic. these words are stronger. They say more than the word selfish...

Yeah, selfish is kind of mild. Isn't it well, I kind of kept it sort of like a narrator trying not to get too emotionally caught app, but yet at the same time. Provide feeling to the words so yeah, I stuck in selfish rather than they're dirty So b's that need to be shot LOL so I will change that word something else though. Definitely thank you again for reading and reviewing and offering your comments. I hope you have the best day!

Yes, I think selfish is a word a child or young person might say... so I am glad you got what I was saying,

I wish I could just keep this because it always makes me want more. I want to see you out of that house a safe. I hope you find a friendly ear with you friend in the cadets or someone who can offer some help. It appears they wouldn't care if you left and you old enough to get a job. I'm amazed that you still make their coffee and bring it to them.

There was no choice unfortunately to bring them coffee. It was a command every morning to make coffee and bring it to them. we were used as slaves on top of all the other things that went on. I've heard I have maybe one or two but it didn't involve the parents. Thank you again for your fine review and your insight and your curiosity. I quite like it. I appreciate everything you say and I'm happy to see your name come up. Thank you for coming on this journey with me!
Comment from Jim Wile
I think your way is the healthier way than your sister's. You are able to process it for what it was, identify it, put a name to it, get it out in the open so that it isn't bottled up and suppressed. Something as traumatic as what you and she faced can't just be forgotten as if it never happened. I'm sure it has left your sister's soul scarred, with unresolved feelings of stress and anxiety.
As painful for you to relive it through your writing, Lea, it gives you a better way to process what happened, and it doesn't leave it bottled up inside you. The realization that you had your childhood robbed from you by evil, psychotic people and that you were in no way responsible for what happened to you I'm sure has been therapeutic to you. It's the best way to deal with it. - Jim

Thank you Jim you're absolutely right! And I know you're right about having to remember everything too. I think in the long run it's better this way too. Thank you again my friend. You're the best. Always happy to see your name. Come on enjoy your day!

Your introduction is always such a fine and beautifully expressed write which I love to read. And then I prepare myself for the agonies of your story. Having very recently fallen hard on my backside, I can understand a little of what you were going through, but just a little, because of the hatred and evil that fueled your particular assault. He really does sound like the devil incarnate and how you kept your act together, Lea, defies belief, especially when you heard the pair 'celebrating' their day out in carnal ecstasy! I'm praying that you find a way, Lea. Thanks for sharing another deeply emotive chapter. Debbie x

Thank you again Debbie. I don't know how to say this in a different way. But I so appreciate you. I really do and I shall keep telling you. And I shall sound like a broken record. But hey what can you do when you live in a shoe? Lol. Thank you my kind and wonderful friend I appreciate you more than you know!
