It was cold and rainy here on Halloween but a least we didn't have snow. Not much fun for the trick or treaters and not much fun for us either. Great picture.
Nicely done November 5/7/5 poem.
Blessings

Thanks, Janet. Have to be of sturdy stock to live in Michigan.

This is a very nice and well written November 5-7-5 poem you have penned for the writing prompt. You used great descriptive words and very neat imagery from the picture you shared with us. We have a son who lives in Grand Rapids, MI. Best wishes in the contest. Teri

Hello there you Michigander! I've never been there but lived in upstate New York for eight years so I know. Frozen candy!
Sending you my best today as always and best wishes for the upcoming contest.

Ha! Frozen candy and frozen children was the main dish of the night!

Hello, Mystery Writer!
As a Michigander = Traverse City = I can certainly relate! Halloween was a tad bit miserable! We had a mini-blizzard that lasted about fifteen minutes - just as we headed out with our grandchildren to trick-or-treat! Woah!
We Michiganders are hearty souls!
Frosty, indeed!
Best Wishes!
Thank you for sharing!

Yes, my kids gave up!

Did those children wish again
That they could trick or treat in Michigan?
Did they realize all the candy they lost
When they returned home due to Frost?
Okay, that's enough! Even though it was a great entry for the contest, that photo gave me a chill!

Ha! One was in an inflatable dinosaur suit wearing shorts and a t. My daughter had a mask that was exposed in the back so snow was going right down her neck. They gave in rather quickly as the white-out started!

Sounds like some wise children to me!
