LoL yes, there is always something to do. I have been sick with a chest cold, so it's hard to do anything. Yesterday my grandson stayed home sick and it was hard... he has so much energy!

Hi Marival,
I'm hoping this dragonfly has landed and indeed, taking in the vibes of a lazy summer day... cause if time balances on a moving dragonfly, we're in for some kind of a ride.

A dragonflies fast flying speeds make dragonfly wing beats so fast you can barely see the movement at all. Up to 30 flaps per second allow the dragonfly to hover in mid air. A dragonfly can beat her wings up to 1,800 times per minute. Blows my mind!

All the facts aside, what a beautiful Gogyohka poem. The visual is stunning, the words allow you to drift into the message conveyed... I love dragonflies! I have a permanent one in the story written on my skin... it's the Japanese side of perpetual movement. it's a beautiful blue one sitting aside cherry blossoms on the inside of my bicep.

I totally enjoyed the read and feel of this Tanka, it had a certain connect to me that felt right and had a very calming effect.

With our thoughts we create...
