What a delight to see my friend in a contest. This one is terrific and you should know all about the woolies in November.
Sending you all my best today as always.

Thank you so much for your encouraging review my friend.
The month of November was always drab and cold in PA but then came December and the beautiful snow that made everything bright again.
But the woolies were sometimes needed until May. Haha
Thanks for the good wishes too.
Blessings

Haven't I used that picture before? I have found the mother load of free pictures on Pinterest. The only problem is I get enthralled watching the laughing baby pictures and lose time. They always brighten my day. Good work here. Karen

Excellent entry for the November 5-7-5 writing prompt contest.
Lol funny.
I like the presentation too. Concrete images easy to visualize.
Good syllables count and connection between lines.

Well done. Over here, woolies can refer to any woollen garments eg sweaters and pullovers. Very nice 5-7-5, well written. Best wishes for the contest.

Thanks Wendy for your encouraging review.
Woolies can mean the same here. Young people today probably never heard the word. Haha

Of course our Novembers would be decidedly different, it's late autumn here, entering into summer, but I can see November heralding winter, beautifully written, good luck, blessings Roy

This was a lighthearted take on the "November 5-7-5' contest. That cabin sure looks inviting! Don't worry about the woolies for me, as long as there is an extra blanket. There! Now, we're all comfy from the winter's chill!

We are getting ready for the winter chill and hoping it?s not too severe. Here in NC it doesn?t get like my childhood Novembers in PA.
Thanks you Jim for the kind review.

It is a little chilly but I still took my evening ride along the grounds

A lovely take on this brief about November here! Your 5-7-5 skilfully evokes the chill of the month in each line, never needing to refer to 'cold' or 'chill' etc. Very well done! Good luck! Debbie

This is a nice little Autumn haiku style poem in which you have the contest word NOVEMBER. I like the onomatopoeic word "rattle" as it helps to describe the noise the windows are making in the wind. Good luck.
