Well written.
That's one mean, vengeful cat! But then, I don't guess the cat could call the ASPCA.
I don't think I'd like to have a cat jump on my face and head and blind me.

    Thank you. Well, you can't blame the cat for wanting revenge. Just don't kill any cats, and you won't have to worry about a cat attacking you. Lol.

Aha! What a nice surprise:-) When he jumped off the car I wondered, until I realized it was a cat whose fur sibling went splat!

This story of revenge makes a good flash because the initial impression someone has killed a person and then we find the one seeking the revenge is a cat. The cat plans to do what a cat is capable of doing and that is scratching the cat killer'e eyes out. I good revenge. Good luck in the contest.

I like that the narrator isn't human, you don't find that out until the end of the story which is a nice twist. The method used by the cat for his revenge is plausible.

Hmm, I think this may appeal to pet and cat owners. It is does lean heavily on the telling aspect. But, I do enjoy the dark tone, and the humanization of the cat. And vengeance is a topic many will understand.

Animals have feelings too as your story indicates so well. Good personification. The twist is a good one, and not predictable. Well done. Best wishes for your entry.

    Thank you. They do have feelings. I two brother and sister cats who lived in my horse barn. They were both fixed and very close to one another. The brother died, and the sister cried for days, refusing to eat, until she she died too. I'm sure it was grief that killed her. She spent hours searching for her companion. I gave her a lot of extra attention but nothing seemed to help.

This entry offers an excellent surprise twist at the end. The story is written very well, holds interest, and is quite effective as a 100 Word Flash Fiction writing. Best wishes!

This will draw the reader in to speculate the answer to the mystery, They will want to read on to find out. This has a great twist. The reader was thinking human, or vampire, when it was a cat. Great work.
