You are absolutely right about that hit the nail on the head! My mother's had multiple men come in and out. She's lived with two men in the last two years that I know of. My mother's face that she showed the world. She could charm the rainbow into thinking it's got different colorso, Peter husband they all thought those 2 are great people. You know they were not

Oh Crap! Now what? There is never a dull moment, or safe moment, or moment free of evil. Whatever you parents are planning, it is not something to benefit you and your sister.

Your mother and latest boyfriend are now sending you messages because they know you are over being ashamed and inwardly hurt over what happened. You are sharing with the many, many people who are reading and commenting on your story.

I think bad people seem to attract each other because they see in the other someone who may be worse than they are and they feel better about themselves by comparison.

It's so sad that a young girl, looking at herself, can only see "anger, fear, bewilderment, disgust and even hatred." What a way to grow up with only those emotions!

Did you ever see the movie Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, where those creepy black gremlins would cart off the bad guys after they died to wherever they would spend eternity? That's what I picture happening to your parents and your grandmother.

I'm left wondering where they are or aren't sending you and your sister. I would think to a relative or back to your grandmothers. I was surprised to learn you mother has a new boyfriend and I'm wondering the step father died or their marriage ended for some other reason.

And I said father died a few years back. Well, more than a few now. I think a couple of actually 3 or 4 different men since him.
I was an adult and gone when my stepfather passed away.
This is my way of trying to get through it.
And write it all out, then. Put it in the box and leave it behind me. I appreciate you as always. Thank you for reading and I sound like a parrot but I appreciate your review too. And hanging in there have an awesome day.!

Another chapter here of your journey to freedom Lea and it is a pity your Mother can't sit down and talk to you and apologise and you could both move on. In the end you will have to forgive her for your own piece of mind, but I do understand that telling the truth of the situation is cathartic and also necessary. People should know about what has happened to you and how cruel your Stepfather was and your Mother did nothing to help you girls. It is very sad and people hate admitting they're wrong doing. It sounds like your mother is getting worried that the truth is starting to spill out. It's the old law of sowing and reaping. Your step father sounds like a mental case - or someone who is demon possessed. If it were up to me I'd have pressed charges and sent his mean butt to jail. I can't believe how much you're going through, Lea. On the one hand you're reliving the trauma here in your writing; on the other hand, you're being bullied and terrorised by people old enough to know better and feel a scintilla of shame. You were managing the best you could it seems. It must be scary with people threatening you to stop. Tell them to write their own stories about their side so we can wait with our sarcastic one stars to throw them a bonne. You must be proud of yourself for sharing your story.
