A beautiful image that could be interpreted two different ways. The simple flower opening to the much needed rain. Or the person waiting for help or relief. My own personal interpretation. Great poem. Gretchen

What an awesome, inspiring haiku, Gypsy. The two pictures were the inspiring part because they showed the rain. The drizzling rain was inspired because whether it was drizzling or actual rain. Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

We've actually had some rain, but not nearly enough. We're still on water restrictions. The sunflowers are sad right now, if there are any survivors. Once again, your presentation is perfect. Thank you.

Sometimes there are only "promises of rain" and the plants are so disappointed. But it's always good to get a sprinkling of hope! Great presentation of your poem! Makes me think of Ukraine.

Thank you, big sister. Poor Ukrainians, out of sight out of mind but they are still at war... after a year. I think about them too.
