Well, the world is built around plastic. I am glad you found humor in the entirety of the situation. If we can not laugh at ourselves, then others will ha!
Good write!

I'm a tree hugger so I prefer plastic bags over paper which comes from trees. The valve in my heart keeps me playing golf among the trees. And, I fed three daughters and lots of dogs and cats from my plastic income. So, I am biased, but laughter is the WD-40 which slides us through life. Thanks for stopping by and your nice review.

This is an interesting, well written story you have managed to tell with just sixty words. We used to think that plastics were fantastic! How little did we know about how they would affect the future of the planet? Good luck.

Of course, there is a good and bad side to everything. And, it depends on the individual. For example, I am dismayed at people who leave plastics on the beach and such, but I am also a "tree hugger" and I know that no tree died to make a plastic grocery sack. Paper bags, on the other hand... And, I live with a plastic valve in my aorta. But, in the 60's, the belief was that "plastics" and "phony" were synonymous. Well, glad you stopped by and thanks!
