Rita is one clever young lady. She can suss out a problem even before it happens. I can't believe Miranda would let her pride come before a fall. In this case that's a true saying. Sh e has ditched the one good man in her life, and for what? Trying to help her, that's what!!!! Oh dear, lets hope she can managed to crawl. Excellent, heart breaking chapter, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Oh, no! Mitch and Miranda have to make up. This just has to be one of those lovers' quarrels that blows over once the couple realizes how much they love each other.
Now, what is going on with the little old guy? Is he really a little old guy? Great job raising the suspicion.

Mr. Starling hasn't revealed himself fully to me yet. He could be good or bad. I'm sure Miranda and Mitch are just having a little tiff. I hope. Thank you for this awesome review and the extra star. Gretchen

Well, she can't let that guy go and I wonder how the old man gets involved. What a wonderfully written chapter full of questions. Best of luck with your project!

Have a great day, and God bless.

At least she reveals why she is ticked off at Mitch. But, what is she mad about? She did the same thing to "Aaron". However, she does not like haven't what she stooped to done to her? Isn't that double standards?

"Miranda" seems to be pretty high on herself. Why should "Mitch" ask for forgiveness? Would be a long time coming.

Right now would be a real good time for "Mitch" to do what most people would do and drop "Miranda," and her holier-than-thou attitude, like they all were hotcakes.

"Miranda's" character is not one most people would tolerate.

Do not know if the intent was to vilify "Miranda" or not, but that is how she comes across in this.

Not trying to vilify her. Just trying to show how her pride and stubbornness is getting in the way of her own happiness. I do appreciate your review and comments. Gretchen

Hello Gretchen,
it wouldn't be the first time someone has let pride step on their parade. On the other hand, Miranda had a right to be upset. He image did seem to have some good advice though. I'm sure things will change again soon. Well done gal.
Have a blessed evening.
Tom

Smart gals should flirt with all the hundred and one year-olds. Really anyone over the age of 80. I mean, they might get more than flowers, since the old coots will be moving on soon. Thanks for sharing.

It's the more than flowers part that would scare me. Lol. Thanks for this awesome review. Gretchen

Ohh no... I hope Miranda and mitch will make up soon. Mitch sounds like a good man. I get Miranda's anger but she went too far. I would have told him, I know you mean well but next time let me know ahead.

Great chapter. I love it. :)

I can't imagine them being apart but until they make up, Miranda can get into a lot of trouble. Lol. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Somehow I doubt it's all off with Mitch, and her idiotic pride makes her stumble, and unless she gives in to humble, she's stuck with it, and will destroy, as it did with the devil. It seems Mr Starling has moved the negative waves on Rita, and thinking of it, also Miranda, beautifully written, blessings Roy

Pride is a silly thing in some circumstances. Hers is bull headed pride. Hope things go back together. Thanks fir this. Gretchen

Actually pride builds walls, that?s its problem, it fortresses itself. Humility on the other hand knocks them down.

Creepy. Rita's picked up something odd about Mr. Starling that will come out soon, I bet. Poor Miranda and her big mouth. She'd better make it right with Mitch before the hussy Peggy gets him.

Lol. I don't think she has to worry about Peggy. Peggy is in Barbara's book. Miranda is capable of shooting her ownself in the foot. Thank you for this. Gretchen
