Love this! Congratulations to you, Gypsy. So much is said in this one-liner. Choosing to think positive when the forecast is bleak - definitely a good thing.

What a stunning image of latent creativity and fecundity! I love the idea of the seed sleeping and dreaming of what may lie ahead in a bountiful future. The written image is so powerful and positive and the artwork enhances its impact considerably. Congratulations on your very well-deserved contest win! xx

Wish I had a six as this is so beautiful. Well deserving of the First Place it has received in the one-line poem contest. The picture, too, is gorgeous and is a perfect accompaniment. Congratulations, Gypsy!

Hi MariVal,
This one line says a lot. It is good personification and this flowers hopes and dreams can be a metaphor for ours.
Congrats on winning the contest.
Keep writing and stay healthy

Another fine poem, Gypsy....I would call this At The Edge of My Sanity. I read your answers to questions and while the old me would agree with you about fall being your favorite season, the new, older and getting older me will take the only season left that's not been extremised by climate change, spring
