This piece had a very elegant feel until we hit that last line. Then it took on a more somber mood.
Here is another number fifteen rating for an awesome poem!

You are a very good writer of haiku style poetry and this one is no exception! Lovely imagery throughout this poem which makes me feel sad for some reason.

Oh I loved this beautifully written haiku..I wish I had a a six. The imagery of your short few words is beautiful yet haunting as well. The boat is all that's left but it has seen it all.
Eso es Una maravilla. Besitos, Ulla xx

Hi MariVal,
This is a well done haiku that personifies the boat and makes the house seem as lonely as the boat in the colorful dawn,
Keep writing and stay healthy
Have a wonderful weekend.

I am wondering about the abandoned home and the boat filled with grief. I see a family whose life wasn't all it should have been and there are broken people left behind. Wonderful presentation.

I left the end up for interpretation on purpose to make readers think about it.

Boat full of grief... empty and completely full of grief ...it describes emptiness of being.
Boatload is like carring fish or any cargo to a destination.
Thank you very much for your excellent review and kind words.

A beautiful and quiet picture for a beautiful haiku. I appreciate the contrast between the first two lines, that evoke quiet and peace for me, and the last line where one can feel the anger.
Thank you for sharing.

What a beautiful haiku, Gypsy. The pair of postings showed the long forgotten abode and the single boat left in frustration. What a shame! Very well done and greatly enjoyed. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

I've journeyed to ghost towns in places where early settlers had their hearts broken by bad seasons on the land, the only thing was, those old derelict buildings weren't talking, beautifully written, blessings Roy
