Nice move, clean up your mess before you exit the scene. Tell me, will there be romantic antics between Betty and Ned? Will he know what to do if the opportunity presents itself? Inquiring minds want to know.

I am not sure how to write that. I imagine Tom Sawyer getting to third base with Becky Thatcher and I get a little sick.

Figures.

So DED doesn't worry about whose number has come up. He is free to overide and take someone else instead. He has a lot of power. Do they get ever get to the otherside and someone tells them it isn't your time, you have to go back. You're just having a NDE.

Since this is all fiction, all that could be true to this character's abilities. What happened here was I was trying to expand the storyline but realized that there are less than a half a dozen who follow me. Numbers above that are looky-loos who have no idea what is going on. So, I pulled a deus ex machina and eliminated this spur.

LOL. Yes, sometimes the "deus ex machina" is the best way to get the plot moving. Whew! I'm glad that Betty was spared and Svengooli and Maumau and Lowell were volunteered - er- by executed decision by DED.

I remember a cartoon strip in National Lampoon about conjoined twins connected at the kidney. It got so bizarre after a year that the artist finally drew himself in the last frame and shot everyone dead.

That's pretty bizarre.
I'm glad you are getting more new members reading your older works!

I guess Ded isn't afraid to use his power. He spares Betty, thinking Ned would like to know her better. Strange names for your strange characters. I must have missed something, because I don't know why Lowell Wrent is disguised as a doctor. One with a German accent, at that. This so whimsical, it seems to be in the theatre of the absurd category. judi

Everything else is boring.

I haven't read any of the previous scripts, but this chapter is intriguing. I will watch for more of your story and see if I can figure out your plot. Nice writing.

This is scene 28, not including splinter scenes with other titles, so you will never understand this script going forward.

I'm not sure, but I believe I liked it. Wish I understood it better. Your satire is fine; I just missed some of it, probably when I was in the hospital. But the men in th wehit4e coats said it's okay if I write again.

You're right! They shouldn't leave me alone in front of a computer.
