I enjoyed the vivid imagery you have used in this well written piece of rhyming poetry. I particularly like this line, "Demons cast shadows
That beckon your soul". I found it to be an interesting and thought-provoking read.

For me, as I was reading your poem, it made me think of people who say particularly mean things to others, and how much what they say can play on your mind, even though you shouldn't take any notice of what they say. I'm not sure if I've interpreted your poem correctly but that's what it made me think of as I was reading. I enjoyed reading it.

It's a little deeper than that. It is more of an inner battle that invades a foolish mind. Then redemption.
