That's news to me that little death means post orgasm what a trip! I am in awe of your knowledge and conceptual awareness of everything to do with Japanese poetry.
The picture you chose works well and in this case, shows the woman in a little death pose.

This post caused me to smile, but it has nothing to do with the poem other than not wanting to get up and go to gym every morning. Nothing sensual like dreams of a former lover. Just not wanting to face the gym, but I know if I miss one day, day two will be easier to miss. LOl Once again, your presentation is perfect.

What a fantastic tanka, Gypsy. The dual pictures were phenomenal because they represented the joy of the La petite mort, as it should be. You were absolutely correct. Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

I forgot who taught me the meaning of the "little death" - You used the term as part of your wordplay as the "rose dust of dawn" awakened to the day as the love experienced in dreams fades away.
