Maybe don't give the story away in your note? Again I do like the style you write in. This is long, but your style engages constantly and some of your more poetic and abstract/repetitive moments are beautiful. I'm not as sure about the changes of tense. Sometimes they work and I can see why, but at other times I just feel it's a mistake? Sorry. Anyway, overall I'm enjoying this immensely. x

Thanks for the advice about not giving the story away. I noticed the tense problem too as I reread the post. Unfortunately, the book is already published and I can't fix it. I'm just copying/pasting the published version. I should, at some point perhaps, make those corrections. Thank you for the excellent review.

I liked reading this post, which seems to be autobiographical. Skiddles the Clown must have been a fun alter ego, for as long as your knees lasted. What talent to master a unicycle. I guess it was a 'combined' present due to its cost. I think you did a good job explaining almost everything here. If I read this right, I guess Felix is the adult male pig?

Thank you for your excellent review. I did love being Skiddles - even mastered the art of animal balloons and magic :-) In my prime, I made $150/hr. Who knew clowns were so expensive! Felix was the barn dog at our farm. He just showed up one day and never left. Thank you for the excellent review. I truly appreciate it.
