Aww bless him. Your characters are fabulous, Aaron, Waylon, Mitch, Miranda, and on, they are all such lovely people. I know Miranda wouldn't like me saying that, but it's true. Now, I'm going on to the next one. I'm really enjoying this story. I love Miranda! :) Sandra xxx

Mitch and Miranda would like to be alone but that isn't going to happen. Too many people in their lives to allow that. It does give them the opportunity to think about how nice Saturday will be. Miranda is so believable and her emotions genuine.

They don't seem to get a break. Some off screen character will always interrupt them. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Your characters are fully drawn. We feel them. It's kind of like the "Andy Griffith Show" with menaces.
I look forward to the next installment. I owe you two.

Ah, Miranda; so tough on the outside, so gooey on the inside. She is just so lovable and RELATABLE, and I love her relationships with the men in her life. You do such a great job drawing her, Gretchen, while moving the story along at a perfect pace. This chapter is wonderful. xo

Thank you, Rachelle. I'm so glad you are still able to relate to her. She's definitely more guarded this go round. I really appreciate this nice review. And the extra stars. Been a little nervous with Miranda this time. She's back but she's different. I'm expecting your honest opinion. I know you'll tell me. You've made me feel better. Gretchen

No, I definitely see growth in her BUT her basic nature is the same. She's a tell-it-like-it is, girl, and you've been wise in that you've shown she's NOT a superhero. She was rocked by all that's happened...but no way would she just cave in to it. I think you're doing it just right. You have SUCH good writer instincts, Gretchen; you can 100 percent trust them.

Congrats, btw, on the release of the new book. I'll be buying it from Amazon as soon as I get done on FS this morning. xoxo

This was a great chapter. I hope I haven't missed anything. I see you have a few of those other re-runs for me to look at as well. When is Miranda and the cop gonna get hitched?

Miranda wouldn't be Miranda if she got married. But you never know. Lol. Thanks so much fir this incredible review. Gretchen

Having a cop as a boyfriend is a two edged sword I guess. She has to take the good with the not so inviting I guess. Aaron seems like a world class nuisance. I would have lost my patience with him long ago. Well done gal. I'm relating to your characters.
Blessings,
Tom

Thanks, Tom. I'm glad you can relate to some of them. Aaron would probably get on my nerves as well but Miranda likes him ... in small doses. Lol. Thanks. Gretchen

This is a very well written and very interesting chapter you have penned. You used very good dialogue and very good descriptive words. Sounds like Mitch is a very handsome guy and Cop. I enjoyed reading and reviewing. love and blessings, teri

Some really complex characters here conveyed through your usual captivating dialogue. You have a real knack of just making them seem so human, such as in that last exchange. Well done.

That's much better, Gretchen. The length is just right. I like the fact you worked in a little romance in. Mitch is a nice guy and is genuinely worried about Miranda. Being the Law, he is a good man to have around looking out for her. He needs to listen to her as well. Aron, Preston and Waylon will be more than willing to. LOL Good Job. Nancy:)

We know Preston from the book about Terry Joe McKinnon will go above and beyond and I'm sure you're right about the other two. Thank you for this. Gretchen

Mitch should know her well enough by now to trust her instincts, so I was a bit surprised he was dismissive of the character by the dumpster. She's not the sort to imagine things. Aaron's life journey sounds like it will be an interesting one! Well written. I'm always keen to read more.

He will most likely check out the scene. He just wants her to not stress out. But not being believed will do ust the opposite. Thanks for this. BTW, how's your son?

Thank you for asking. I will do a final post I think. He turned a corner this week and he may go home soon with extra procedures for his care in place. They can?t use a needle to drain his lungs so he will still have a significant amount of fluid there but he?s now managing without oxygen and the infection has cleared. But the medical staff have done all they can do. From here it will just take time for the fluid to be absorbed and the lungs to clear. Thanks again.
