Fantastic Halloween poem both in words and presentation.
I love it. A wonderful job. Clever using an actual place.
Thank you for the background notes.
Best wishes

Yuck of Yuck!!!!!! Thank you for sharing this perfect for Halloween poem. It had a creepy aspect to it. I have a novel in the back of my mind, but haven't been able to put pen to paper, because it's about a murder, still a romance, set in New Orleans. There's also a voodoo aspect to it. Maybe someday, I'll get the nerve to attempt it. I'm a little afraid of the voodoo part. When I wrote 'Secrets of my Confederate Soldier', I had the Confederate ghost smoking cigars in my bathroom. My bathroom smelled like cigars until I finished the book. Who knows what would happen if I attempted to write about voodoo.

Wow, your bathroom smelled like cigars? And you were not smoking? That's creepy. I wish you would share your scary stories. Gretchen and I love horror. She inspired me. Dean and I wrote horror haiku alot .
Thank you for the excellent review.

Yes. A while back I switched publishers and he took over that novel. As we discussed it, I had cigar smoke again in my bathroom. It's weird. Nobody in my house smokes anything, and only seems to surround that novel. It does have a ghost, but Bradley was a friendly ghost.

I really liked Halloween is my favorite day of the year, Gypsy. Fun gags were always delightful to me such as eyeballs, plastic spiders and snakes. Your words were cautious because they proved 'a tender flesh' in her beef stew. I wonder? Blessed Be n Hugs!!!

Originally, voodoo came from Africa but changed in time in Louisiana, America. It was a mix of religions, Haitians , Christianity, catholics, and others... it's a crazy mix. I only have seen them at the movies.
Thank you very much for your excellent review.

Well, except for the ingredients which makes me question her kindness to the "runaway youth", she seemed like a nice lady.
I bet you are having fun decorating and planning Halloween treats with Atticus!
