I've never been to my childhood home, but I have been to the neighborhood. The home wasn't there any longer. I know the neighborhood was completely different than I remembered it. I wonder how many times that happens. Thank you for sharing this with us. I enjoyed reading.

I felt the innocence in this. Our first home as a child in most cases is our safe place. But of course, it being a day after Friday the thirteenth and coming up on Halloween I took it down another route. The ghost of s child the echo of its laugh permanently heard in the house. Well done. Gretchen
