Ok my favorite dragon poet. I like your stuff, but alas no one cares what we rant about. I honestly believe a rant is only worth ranting about if someone actually agrees with you. It just feels good to be able to write. Some people hear and because of that it is worth saying. You get a six but I have only a 5 because that is life. Esther.

Husband has a shirt: If you can't say anything nice about anyone, sit next to me and we will laugh at them together. Alas, he outgrew it so I was wearing it this weekend. I was taught by my mommy if you can't say anything nice don't say anything at all. So I married a man who says what he pleases.

This is your pet peeve I get it but surely there are more important issues among us than that don't you think? We have impending war or wars we must face and deal with and the upcoming election for president of the United States with no clear advantage either way.
There is poverty and homelessness and hunger and pestilence and a whole lot more to deal with than a silly contest entry.

Now they have another rant contest coming up in August rather than a year from now. I was just being silly but hey...haha. Still not going to hold my breath though. Ha. Though, from what I see, it doesn't mater how you feel about anything, because the site will do what it wants, when it wants, and to who it wants....Plain and simple. It's their site and we're just here to hand over money. (Foolishly I might add.) The site leans toward poetry which is great except for us who only write prose. I couldn't imagine when I entered a contest the other day that it wouldn't be judged till next year. A reader pointed it out to me and I was stunned. I wish you luck in the contest and thank you for being so brave and making me laugh at the same time.

Hey, Carol, hello. Thank you so much for the fantastic review and the big shiny plus. The funny part about this is when this contest first came up so long, I wrote a rant about it not going to booth until today but I didn't post it. Then I saw coming up and rewrote what I had but pretty well saying the same thing. Lol.
I was really just doing my usual goofing around feather ruffling but I was taken back when I saw what was on the front page today. They claim to have heard my rant and now there's an extra rant contest coming up in August. Now I have to figure something to whine about for that. Lol. All I was really going for was to give a few folks a chuckle so I'm glad it worked that way. I dearly appreciate the sixer, Carol. Thank you again.
