    Yes I did - the other day. It doesn't look quite like that picture. it looks worse.
    I cut mine all the time, but this time I went mad at the switch :) Can't wait for it to grow out.

    So there's this hair stick? Kind of like industrial strength gel? It's the ONLY way to keep those "stick-ups" tamed!

This poem, The Haircut, takes us all the that one time we decided to go it alone and cut our own hair. Other than shaved head folks, no one ever boasts of their own haircutting skills.

I don't know any woman that hasn't done this at one point of another. I did and couldn't believe the gaping hole. My hairdresser fixed me up straight away. A fun one for the laughter prompt.

I found myself chuckling as I visualized this grandma cutting her hair while tapping her foot to an old country song. You make it easy for us to. SEE what she did to herself. Rod

    I actually was cutting on my hair last night to music and though it doesn't look like the picture, it is definitely too short. ( and not exactly even)

Poor dear. One thing I have decided is that I will not cut my hair or visit a hair dresser for at least a year. I'm trying to grow it out. You say trim and they cut it short. Apparently that same holds true when you do your own.

    I actually was cutting my hair last night to good old country music, but though it doesn't look like that picture, it is definitely too short (and not exactly even)
    I've tried to let mine grow so I can twist it up with a good looking thinga majig with teeth to hold it. simple. doesn't matter if it rains, etc, but the "in-betweens' got too much.

Very clever and witty. I think we've all had a go at cutting our own hair over the years. All we can do is laugh and wait for it to grow back. A great entry for the competition. Best of luck. J

LOL - this is a great entry for the laughter writing prompt.
An entertaining poem with rhyme that allows a story to unfold allowing the reader to feel they're listening to the music and watching every snip. I quite like the haircut in the photo so you would be a cool looking grandma if that is your do. Well done and best of luck in the competition.

    Well, that picture isn't me, but, but it could be if I put mousse and ran my fingers through it. Cut it last night and this morning I thought, what have you done ?
