This is another excellent chapter. Will Ben be able to get out of this one? God works in mysterious ways. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

Thank you. I can't see God letting Ben hang.

I was shocked at the verdict. But the fact that the jury was harrassed into voting guilty seems a reason for a new trial. I'm sure God is somehow planning the next part of Ben's ministry,

Well, this is not the ending I was hoping for. But even in prison, I'm sure Ben will preach the gospel to the fellow inmates and probably to the wardens and guards. It's a minor setback or a new mission for him.

Is this the end? Or are we going to experience an acquittal? I think that would be a good thing, but Ben knew of Paul's being poured out as a drink, he was proud to die, even though he was guiltless of all crime, as is Ben, to live is Christ, but to die is gain, beautifully written my friend, blessings Roy

Thank you. Nah, surely you wouldn't have Ben hang, or be murdered in prison! (smiley face here)

You have "someone, someone, anyone" - I would drop one "someone".

The Prosecutor is right about one thing - all Ben's good deeds don't matter if he killed a man, and self-defense was never proven, thanks to the stacked deck of witnesses.

"I'm here to bloom." Well, that's certainly a unique way to look at the situation!

Thanks, Wayne. See you next week.

Well, Wayne, you did a marvelous job of getting us all worked up by the injustice to Ben being perpetrated here. Although Henry did a crappy job of lawyering, it seems like the fix was in if indeed, they had "gotten to" Dr. Philmore.

I guess the only justice here was that the bad guy died. You've certainly got us wondering how Ben is going to escape his fate. I'm eager to find that out. - Jim

    Your review excites me!
Several have expressed enough concern for Ben that I'm inspired.
All I can say is that I enjoy reading unpredictable stuff, so...

Oh no! Is this the end? Surely not. I hope the appeal is successful. The trial was not what I expected; all falling apart too quickly. I presume that your masterful story telling has it all in hand!

Goodness. What a predicament. I know Ben is ready to die, but justice has not been served, and corruption abounds in the evil desire of many to get rid of him. These evil ones are compounding their own sin and guilt. Now, how will you get him out?

Interesting Chapter. Seems poor old Ben is really in the poo. Things not going his way at all. I must read the preceding chapters, but this one is put together well. I am keen to know what happens next.

Well, I don't know how much blooming Ben might do with a noose around his neck. But thankfully, I know you aren't going to let that happen. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Yeah, pretty hard to conceal that (not hanging Ben).
