Hello Lea,
Until we suffer a situation, we can't fully embrace what the other person is going through. If you've never been sick, it's hard to have compassion on those who are sick. In the same way, if you've never experienced mind games and abuse, it's hard to relate. Well done gal.

When I look at this picture of you, Lea, I don't see you as shattered the way you may see yourself. I do see a beautiful girl with a slightly haunted and mistrustful, disappointed look about her--someone who is owed so much more in life and something to make her smile for a change. But I also see an inner strength and determination there.

I am scarred but healing.

I have the god given grace to be able to separate him for others to know that Not every person was like him or will be like him. And I know it even though I get nervous sometimes I swallow those nerves.

Yes, today's world teaches us to be wary suspicious and untrusting. It's cause we are such a mixed race of people. Some good, some bad, we just don't always know which.
